OUTWOOD VILLAGE SHOW & Outwood Horticultural Society Summer Show Saturday 2nd
September 1.00 to 5.00pm LLOYD HALL
The Village Show is about fun and fundraising. From the Coconut Shy to the Parish Council’s World Welly Wanging Championship in the Wells Field, with the winners’ names on a big wooden welly, the money raised goes towards maintenance of the Lloyd Hall and the Church yard. Come for lunch with a beef burger or hallumi burger, a glass of beer or tea and cake. Visit the Horticultural Show in the Hall or, better still, put in an entry

Auction of promises
5th June 2015
A superb turnout from the village for the auction of promises. 80 items were bid for over evening, securing a truly amazing £10,000 for the village hall. Thank you for all who donated and all who attended and bid to make it a brilliant event.
New Hall opens
31 January 2015
Snow lay on the fields of Outwood on the morning of 31st January and a flurry of snow threatened to disrupt the long awaiting opening of the new Lloyd Hall. But this did not deter the many members of the Outwood community who braved the chill to congregate on the steps of the new hall. Following a few words from Paul Daniels, the scissors were handed to Dame Judi Dench to officially open the new hall.

What a fantastic evening with Dame Judi Dench and Sir Richard Stilgoe. Judi and Richard shared wonderful stories of their experiences in the entertainment industry. Whilst they chatted about their exploits we enjoyed delicious home made canapés and champagne.
Annual General Meeting

We held our Annual General Meeting at 8.00pm on Friday 13th February. We discussed the rebuild activity as well as plans for events in the year ahead.
